It is almost certainly no coincidence that TIME SPORTS was founded on what was arguably the beginning of modern cycling. The invention of the click pedal, the growing dominance of carbon fibre materials, the endless pursuit of perfect performance: all these things are intertwined with the TIME story. Founded in 1987 by Roland Cattin, along with his father-in-law Jean Beyl, TIME has never deviated from its determination to make the best products to meet the needs of cyclists. From click pedals to carbon forks specified throughout the industry, to the ultimate carbon frames, TIME remained at the head of the technological curve.

There is no doubt that the switch to mainly carbon production has changed the bicycle industry. TIME was at the forefront of this change, aiming to make the best possible bicycle frames. Many other manufacturers followed the carbon trend. While that caused most production to shift to Asia, TIME stood firm to keep control of the process and keep production in Europe. With perfecting RTM - Resin Transfer Moulding - as the basis of TIME's production, TIME Bicycles strives to guarantee the handmade quality of every frame that comes out of its own factory.
